The 1933 Austin 7 Type 65 is an iconic car with its lightweight aluminium body over an ash frame with steel cycle wings. However, it’s unfortunate that the previous restoration work wasn’t up to the mark. Addressing and correcting earlier restoration flaws can be challenging but it is essential to do it justice to such a historically significant vehicle.
Realigning the ash frame and manufacturing a new aluminium body has put the car back on track to regaining its original state. Bringing such a classic back to life is always worth the effort.
