CW Coachworks Ltd is a family-run business, established in 2022 and based in Essex.

We take pride in offering a personal and bespoke service, specializing in the restoration and repair of historic and prestigious vehicles, particularly Rolls Royce and Bentley models.

Meet the Team

Chris Wood

Chris embarked on his career in 1995, beginning with an apprenticeship that led to many years of honing his craft, particularly with Rolls Royce and Bentley vehicles. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of working on extraordinary vehicles, each carrying remarkable histories. His skill set has evolved with the advancements in automotive design, construction, and technology, allowing him to master a wide array of materials and techniques.

Driven by a passion for perfection, Chris relishes the challenge of restoring vehicles to their original condition. His dedication to detail and commitment to excellence fuels his work, ensuring that each project not only meets but exceeds expectations.

Chris has been fortunate to have worked on some of the greatest motor vehicles in the world, including the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance winners. 

Lewis Wood

Lewis, Chris’ eldest son, joined CW Coachworks in 2023 as an apprentice, following in his father’s footsteps. He is currently studying for his NVQ Level 2/3 in vehicle refinishing at college. With a strong work ethic and a growing passion for restoration, Lewis has set his sights on one day owning a classic car of his own.
